Our origins

We are a husband and wife duo. Having spent the last 16 years travelling, we came across Papua New Guinea.

We met farmers, made friends and got familiar with the beautiful melanesian cultures.

Here at the little vanilla pod we are rather concerned with the environment and sustainability.​

So to this end we have always used compostable  "plastic" packaging for our vanilla pods. This packaging can be put in your normal compost, or disposed of in your garbage and it will break down with time without leaving a trace behind. ​

​

Our mailers will always be compostable "plastic", or at least recycled plastic.
